This project in Cobham showcases how a carefully planned kitchen extension and external landscaping can completely redefine the heart of a home. By extending and reconfiguring the kitchen, dining and living areas, we created a bright, open-plan space that reflects both the character of the existing property and the lifestyle needs of the homeowners.

This residential project involved the construction of a kitchen extension alongside the complete redesign of the surrounding outdoor space. Internally, the kitchen was transformed into a spacious, light-filled environment featuring quartz worktops, porcelain floor tiles and bespoke traditional cabinetry, all centred around a statement kitchen island that balances practicality with contemporary style.
Large-scale glazing, including bi-fold doors and rooflights, allows natural light to flood the interior while creating a strong visual and physical link to the garden. The open-plan layout flows naturally into the dining and lounge areas, enhancing both functionality and comfort.
Externally, the project extended beyond the building itself. The garden was fully landscaped to complement the new extension, incorporating a stylish patio area, an integrated outdoor kitchen, and a cosy firepit, creating an inviting setting for alfresco dining and social gatherings.
Completed within a three-month programme, this project required detailed planning and careful coordination, including managing permissions to respect the existing architectural character of the property. The end result is a cohesive, elegant transformation that delivers both aesthetic impact and everyday usability.
