Structural & Exterior Works
The existing roof was fully stripped back and reconstructed to allow for the new dormer structures and roof layout. Heavy-duty structural steel beams were installed to support the new floor and dormer construction, with a new engineered timber floor structure formed throughout the loft space.
The external works included the construction of the rear dormer and L-shape dormer sections, new structural roof elements, breathable membranes, battens, roof tiling works, rooflights and new high-performance uPVC windows and doors.
